We’re thrilled to share that svexa received the IAPS Award after participating in the ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator, held in Taiwan. The program was organized by IAPS (Center of Industry Accelerator and Patent Strategy) and NYCU (National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University) with support from the Taiwan’s government’s Sports Administration and the Ministry of Education, and the cohort included 15 sports tech startups from 8 countries. Over the four-month program, svexa worked closely with local and international mentors to fine-tune our offerings and business strategies for the local market. The program culminated in a high-energy Demo Day at Syntrend Creative Park in Taiwan on July 25th, and we’re honored to have been awarded the IAPS Award, recognizing our innovative technology within the sports vertical.
From fan engagement tools to performance and health optimization platforms, the diversity of technologies and challenges shared across the cohort helped us gain perspectives on how different markets approach athlete care and health-tech innovation. By working alongside mentors, government stakeholders, and ecosystem partners, we developed a deeper understanding of the region’s unique needs and priorities, not just in elite sports, but in adjacent verticals like wellness and healthy aging.
Since day one, svexa has aimed to be a global company, and today we have team members and clients in ten different countries. We know that it is crucial to have a local presence in all areas we work in. As we look ahead, svexa is excited to leverage the growing network of collaborators, advisors, and partners to expand our presence across the Asia-Pacific region. Participating in programs like ASPN allows us to evaluate relevant partnerships, tailor our offerings for regional specificity, and build meaningful relationships that fuel long-term innovation.
