In yet another demonstration of amazing speed, svexa data analyst and elite runner Andreas Almgren, 28, has broken the Swedish record in the 1,500 meters! In an extremely high paced field, Andreas finished 12th at the Diamond League gala in Oslo on Thursday evening. The 28-year-old crossed the finish line in 3:32,00, comfortably surpassing Kalle Berglund’s 2019 record of 3:33.70.
“It happened quickly there. Just got to hang in as best I could. I’m not used to this” said Andreas after the race.
