Daniel first built his career in financial services, as a financial analyst first at Merrill Lynch then moving into telecom and health technology. But he was always an entrepreneur at heart, so moved in that direction as soon as he saw the opportunity. Since 2012, Daniel has been an active member of the startup community in Poland and across Europe, in organizations including Climate-Knowledge & Innovation Community, Corbin Angels investors, Humanet, and MIT Enterprise Forum. He has co-founded a number of startups including Humanet, Lingero, OSBeehives and Axelum.
As a former elite volleyball player, Daniel has always been a keen sports fan and so folded that into his career along the way. He’s closely plugged into the soccer ecosystem across Europe, including related funding and technology. Since 2022 has been helping fuel the rapid growth of teqball, including great success with the Polish team. Daniel is also currently part of the EBAN Sports steering committee, promoting angel investment and innovation in the sports sector across Europe and beyond.
Since svexa’s early days in 2019, Daniel has played a key role in our growth in Europe. First guiding our digital innovation and startup community involvement in Poland, then leading our Central European team as GM. Having a strong team in that part of the world has been vital in anchoring our development and infrastructure units.
As Daniel says, “I have worked with many startups in Europe and USA, but rarely see such a great combination of deep expertise and the latest technology being applied to several rapidly growing verticals in human performance.”
