After his record-setting debut at the half marathon distance, svexa analyst Andreas Almgren has delivered another fantastic debut performance. At the recent Sound Running TEN in California he beat the longstanding swedish record at 10,000m by more than a minute, in a time of 26:52:87. This has secured Andreas automatic qualification to run in this year’s Paris Olympics.
Svexa’s Ellida algorithm for endurance training predicted Andreas’ time. He maintained predicted pace almost to the end of the race, and with a great sprint finished just 0.7% faster than Ellida predicted.
Congratulations Andreas!
