We’ve talked previously about svexa’s support for the Girls Gotta Run Foundation, a team investing in girls who use running and education to empower themselves and their communities in Ethiopia. As we described last year, GGRF was an official charity partner for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon, with their runners using svexa’s Ellida product to generate their training plans.
In the latest great news from the GGRF team, alum Wosene Asefa has placed SILVER at the (U20) World Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Florida! Wosene’s journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when girls are supported to dream big, stay in school, and pursue their athletic potential.
