The first step in svexa’s collaboration with Hormona is to deliver a robust scientific study about exercise and women’s hormonal health. The focus of the study is to understand how training and performance is affected by, and affecting, the menstrual cycle. Study participants will be volunteers using Hormona.io and that also run >3 times a week. Svexa will apply our proprietary data analysis and algorithms for human performance, to deliver new insights into the hormonal factors that influence women’s health. On top of access to app and hormonal test strip data for the volunteers, the team at Hormona.io will also contribute expertise in woman’s hormonal cycles. The goal is to produce joint scientific papers that break new ground in the understanding of women’s hormonal health, and enable tools for actionable insights on an individual level.

Hormona CEO and Founder Karolina Löfqvist adds, “Hormona has quickly established itself as a valuable partner for women since our launch in 2023, with thousands of downloads in 180+ countries. Bringing svexa’s analytical power to bear on the data we collect will allow us to take another big step forward in delivering actionable insights to each woman, so they can better understand and balance their hormonal needs.”

We’re excited to see what this innovative new study will uncover.
