Yesterday in Berlin was the culmination of Werder Lab’s selection process in conjunction with Betahaus X, when 10 startups from round the world pitched their ideas for talent forecasting, injury prevention and fan engagement to a panel of Werder Bremen execs. We’re excited to report that they selected Svexa as one of three winning startups to move forward for a collaboration with SV Werder Bremen’s soccer team.
“Werder is one of the best known clubs in Germany, with many innovative ideas in the past. We are very much looking forward to working with top athletes and the first ever collaboration with a Bundesliga club,” says Mikael Mattsson from SVEXA.
We will now begin the process of discussing and gathering all available player performance and recovery data from the WB staff, to deliver our unique Player Passports and discuss with SV Werder Bremen execs the most effective way to implement our deeper decision-making intelligence with the goal of reducing injuries and boosting their performance.
